The case of the Odessa “Crane”: the budget has still not returned the overpaid UAH 95 million
KIEV. March 26. UNN. Odessa city Council almost a year does not return to the budget UAH 95 million overpaid in the purchase of a building “region”. It is reported by a Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office in Facebook, reports UNN.
It is reported that during a pretrial investigation it is established that the market value of the purchased factory building “, region” for the new city hall on the purchase was twice as high.
After that, the city Council signed a new contract with the firm-the seller of the “development Elite”, supposedly agreeing about twice less cost: price of the main contract has changed nearly doubled – from 185 million to 90 million hryvnia, and the overpaid funds in the amount of 95 million, the seller had to return to the budget within 14 days.
In April 2018 based on the decision of the court of appeal was seized of these funds in the amount of almost 93 million, in connection with which OOO “development Elite” had the opportunity to freely dispose of the remaining funds.
“However, it turned out that the Odessa city Council for almost a year does not make any action to recover funds from the companies of the “development Elite” part of the funds that have not been arrested. At the request of the Prosecutor, the officials said that waiting in criminal proceedings the sentence, instead of the claim-actional to return to the budget”, – reported in SAP.
We will remind, the Malinovsky district court of Odessa questioned 75 witnesses claimed by the prosecution, in the mastery of 185 million UAH from the local budget for the purchase of a building of the former factory “region”.
