Foreign student jumped off the balcony and survived

KIEV. 26 Jan. UNN. A foreign student from Egypt in Chernivtsi fell from the balcony of the 4th floor of the house, suffered multiple fractures and injury to internal organs and was hospitalized. I suspect a suicide attempt. This was reported to UNN in the press service of GU NP in the region.

Police received a report that a man fell from the balcony of the 4th floor of the house located at Shcherbaniuk street in Chernivtsi, 26 January about 4 o’clock in the morning. At the scene arrived investigative team of the police outfit patrol police and ambulance.

“Man after the fall was in consciousness, but suffered multiple fractures and injury to internal organs and was hospitalized in hospital”, – told the police.

The police interviewed witnesses and eyewitnesses of incident.

“It is established that the victim is a citizen of Egypt and arrived in Ukraine to study in Bukovinian state medical University. One version of the incident, the witnesses called an attempt of the student to commit suicide for personal reasons,” said police.

Police are still checking on this fact to establish all the circumstances.
