Zelensky approved the Annual national program under the auspices of the Commission Ukraine – the NATO for the year 2020

KIEV. May 26. UNN. President Vladimir Zelensky has signed a Decree “On Annual national programme under the auspices of the Commission Ukraine — the NATO for the year 2020” № 203/2020, reports UNN with reference to the President’s Office.
As reported in the Office’s Annual national programme (ANP) defines the strategic objective of the reform, objectives and priorities within the framework of the implementation of the policy of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and the state bodies responsible for these tasks.
“The program is a system document aimed at systematic implementation is stipulated in the Constitution of the strategic course of the state for the acquisition of full membership in North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Special attention will be given to achievement of criteria of NATO membership, the transfer of security sector and defense of Ukraine to NATO standards and strengthen the democratic and civilian control”, – stated in the message.
From Zelensky added that the main focus of the program is made on the efforts of the state to ensure the safety and well-being as a key subject of national security.
“The implementation of comprehensive reforms in various fields, provided for HNP, and should bring Ukraine closer to the Alliance”, – concluded the Office.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Vadim pristayko said that Ukraine has prepared all the necessary military base in order to join the Partnership extended the capabilities of NATO (Enhanced Partnership Opportunity).
However, NATO is not yet ready to make a decision on Ukraine’s accession to the affiliate Program extended features NATO (Enhanced Partnership Opportunity).
