Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air since February 10, 2019 suspends flights Kharkov-London (airport “Luton”, – ed.). It is reported by the CTS.

At this point, the low-cost carrier Wizz Air stopped selling tickets for the flight Kharkov-London after 9 Feb.

The cancellation of flights confirmed the publication in Kharkov airport. Now the company website is no longer possible to book the ticket for the flight after the specified date.

The carrier made the decision because of lack of demand for this direction.

As a result, the flight will be suspended from February 10.

“As demand and tourist seasons that affect the aviation industry, Wizz optimized implementation of flights on their routes and Ukrainian on February 9 suspends the execution of flights on the route Kharkov-London (“Luton”) during the winter season,” reads the statement of the airline.

It should be noted that the released resources Wizz Air uses to service the flights for which there is high demand.

All passengers booking which was cancelled, is offered booking on an alternative flight, a full refund or 120% compensation of the cost of tickets, which is transferred to the account Wizz in the form of a loan.

Earlier it was reported that budget airline Wizz Air will launch new direct flights from Kiev and Kharkov to Krakow Poland.

Flights from the Ukrainian capital to Krakow will start from 5 April 2019, and will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
