Law enforcement officers detained two residents of the city Yagotin, who kidnapped the owner of the apartment in the Podolsk district of Kiev and more than years applied to it physical violence.

“The investigation established that in February 2018 criminals, using information about a lonely and vulnerable person in the property which is one bedroom apartment in the Podolsk district of Kiev, waylaid him near the house and was kidnapped. More than a year to March 2019, the attackers kept the 46 – year-old victim against his will in the commercial premises in the city of Yagotin. During the illegal holding to men are constantly used physical violence, in particular, struck a metal pipe and rods to force him to sign documents on alienation of housing”, – stated in the message.
During the searches at the place of residence of the defendants seized live ammunition and drugs.
These persons reported on suspicion under part 2 of article 146, part 2 of article 189, part 1 St. 263, part 2 of article 309 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
In the Podolsk district court of Kiev presented the petition for election of a measure of restraint in form of detention without setting bond.
In addition, at the request of local prosecutors to prevent violations of the right of ownership of the victim to his house arrest, it applied security measures.
