WADA has launched a mobile app to report doping
Uncategorized March 10, 2017KIEV. March 10. UNN. The world anti-doping Agency (WADA) has launched a mobile app through which informants can report doping violations, reports UNN with reference to BBC.
The app, called Speak Up! available in beta in online stores App Store and Google Play. It can be downloaded to mobile devices based on iOS and Android, according to the website of WADA.
Thanks to everyone who witnessed the use of doping or is aware of such violations, will be able to quickly notify WADA.
WADA Director General Olivier Niggli hopes that the new program will encourage a greater number of whistleblowers “to report information about possible doping violations.”
As the head of the investigations division WADA Gunther the Younger, information which, will be treated with utmost confidentiality and the informants with whom the Agency contracts, will be protected and informed about the investigation.
We will remind, the Russian athletes were obliged to bring back 23 medalsreceived during the Olympic games in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, for violating anti-doping rules.
