UNESCO approved the candidacy of the General Director of the organization

KIEV. 10 Nov. UNN. Today at the General conference of UNESCO approved the candidature of former Minister of culture of France Audrey Azula for the post of General Director of the organization, reports UNN citing Twitter of UNESCO.

39-th session of UNESCO, held in Paris today, 131 countries supported the candidacy of Audrey Azula for the post of General Director of the Organization.

We will remind, on October 13 of 58 States members of UNESCO’s Executive Board, has appointed Audrey Azula (France) for the post of General Director of the Organization, succeeding the current Director-General Irina Bokova.
