Head coach of Ukraine Valeriy Plekhanov said that the team offered to conduct match-fixing at the Universiade.
According to him, unknown persons contacted the players before the game with Australia, which in the end, the Ukrainians won with the score 80:76.
The basketball Federation of Ukraine (FBU) has lodged a police report on this person.
– After the match with the Australian team I began receiving information that some unknown communication with the players, – quotes the press service FBU of the word Plekhanov.
