Boryspil district court of Kyiv region opened proceedings against employees of security Service of Ukraine, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine and the state Treasury in the case of moral damages to the claimant Dmitry, the bodies of preliminary investigation in the course of an illegal search. The amount of compensation claimed for the first time in the history of the judicial system of Ukraine installed in bitcoin is one bitcoin.

As stated in the judge’s decision Zhuravsky, V. V., in February 2018 Dmitry has addressed with the statement in which asks to compensate the moral damage from the actions of law enforcement. Moreover, preparatory hearing, and the court sent a copy of the order to the defendants, who within 15 calendar days have the right to submit counter-arguments to the court and to plaintiff Dmitry G. otherwise, the court will consider the case on the basis of available information.
