Ukraine will host a qualifier for the FOUR-2019 3×3 basketball

KIEV. April 23. UNN. Ukraine has received the right to host the qualifying for the European championship 2019 3×3 basketball, reports UNN with reference to the FBU.

Recently FIBA 3×3 met the request of the FBI to conduct one of the three qualifications for the European championship. In accordance with the international calendar it will be held in Kyiv on 29-30 June. The competition will be held on St. Sophia square and should be the next step in the development of this Olympic sport in Ukraine.

In Kiev qualifier will feature the participation of 10 men’s teams (Ukraine, Czech Republic, Estonia, Belarus, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and 9 female (Ukraine, Czech Republic, Estonia, Belarus, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Austria). Before the final tournament of the European championship qualification will be the first two teams.

Note that qualification for the European championship in 3×3 will be the first official competitions on the territory of Ukraine with participation of the national teams.

It is noteworthy that the other two qualifying stages for the European Championships 2019 will be held June 29-30 in Latvia (Riga) and Romania (Constanta).

Add also, the final tournament of the European championship on basketball 3×3 2019 will be held from 30 August to 1 September in the Hungarian Debrecen. Will participate 12 teams in men and women.
