Ukraine will hold talks with Russia, Slovakia and Hungary concerning the contamination of the oil pipeline “Druzhba”

KIEV. April 29. UNN. On Tuesday, April 30, first Deputy General Director of JSC “Ukrtransnafta” Andrey Pasishnik will take part in the negotiations on the localization of the contaminated Russian oil from the Druzhba pipeline. It is reported by UNN with reference to the official page of “Ukrtransnafta” in Facebook.

The negotiations will take part the representatives of JSC “Transneft” (Russia), JSC “Transpetrol” (Slovak Republic), JSC MOL (Hungary) and Slovak refinery “Slovnaft”.

The meeting will be held in Budapest (Hungary) at 10:30.

JSC “Ukrtransnafta” has informed on termination of transit of oil through the main oil pipeline “Druzhba” in the direction of Slovakia, the national security Council and defense of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the security Service of Ukraine, foreign intelligence Service, Main intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine and the Energy customs of the State fiscal service of Ukraine.

In addition, Ukrtransnafta announced the public authorities, conducts negotiations with related partners and customer services for the transportation of oil to rebuild its transit through the territory of Ukraine and takes all necessary measures to preserve the remnants of the transit volume of oil in the oil transportation system of the company and prevent any of its use.

Recall that the pumping of clean oil trunk naftoprovody “Friendship” still has not begun .

Last week in the Belarusian concern “Belneftekhim” said the sharp deterioration in the quality of oil flowing through the pipeline from Russia. On 23 April Belarus through the supply of substandard oil from Russia has suspended exports of light oil products to Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States. April 25 Belarus partially resumed deliveries of gas to Ukraine.

Poland and several other countries suspended oil transit through the oil pipeline “Friendship”.

In addition, the “Ukrtransnafta” has suspended the transit of oil via main oil pipeline “Mozyr-Brody” (MN “Druzhba”).

In the Russian Federation have created the interdepartmental Commission to check the violation of the quality of crude oil transported on the main pipeline “Druzhba”.

Also to investigate the pollution of the pipeline “Friendship”, if necessary, to attract special services.

Belarus will resume production and deliveries of petroleum products for export in full next month.

In addition, the “Russian Railways” in may will begin deliveries of oil which were previously transported through the pipeline “Druzhba”.
