It is reported that the European delegation was led by Luke Devine, Director for Russia, Eastern partnership, Central Asia and OSCE of the European external action service.
“European officials have just returned from Donbass where he studied security policy and humanitarian situation. Exchanged views on the effectiveness of the mission of the OSCE SMM. Ukraine insists on its expansion and improvement of the Assembly’s monitoring procedure”, – said Gerashchenko.
In addition, she informed the delegation about the negotiations for the release of hostages within the framework of the Minsk group.
“We are at the stage of bringing to the process the mission of the UN high Commissioner for human rights (it will be a precedent for such involvement), but we are open for the release of children”, – said Deputy speaker of Parliament.
Also, according to her, the sides discussed issues of the blockade of Donbass.
“European visitors brought good news on the allocation of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine”, – said Gerashchenko.
