Ukraine has decided to be nominated to membership of the world heritage Committee

KIEV. July 12. UNN. Ukraine will take part in the elections to the members of the world heritage Committee to be held in November. It on a press-conferences were reported by the Deputy Minister of culture of Ukraine Tamara Mazur, the correspondent of UNN.

“This year Ukraine has decided to participate in the elections to the world heritage Committee. We were never informed members of the world heritage Committee”, – said T. Mazur.

According to her, the membership of world heritage Committee opens in front of Ukraine great opportunities for the presentation of the country and its heritage.

“In fact, we have extensive experience which we can share with other countries that are members of the Convention, in which the objects similar to the objects in Ukraine. We are nominated members of the world heritage Committee, and in November we will take part in the elections and hope that we will become members of the world heritage Committee”, – said the Deputy Minister.
