Tusk: I’m not a fan of Russia
Uncategorized December 16, 2017KIEV. 15 Dec. UNN. The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that definitely does not consider himself a fan of Russia. He said this during a press conference at the EU summit in Brussels, answering a journalist’s question about the issues of immigration quotas and anti-Russian sanctions, reports UNN.
“I’m not a fan and not the best expert when it comes to QMV (qualified majority voting), rather, Jean-Claude (Juncker),” said Tusk, referring to the vote by qualified majority in the EU.

Juncker intervened with a clarifying remark in relation to Russia.
“I’m not a fan of Russia. Perhaps Jean-Claude better than I prepared (to answer the question – ed.)” – said Tusk.

Recall that on 14 December, EU leaders endorsed the continuation of economic sanctions against Russia for six months.
