Kazakhstan figure skater Elizabeth Tursynbayeva has performed a quadruple Salchow in the free program at the world Championships in Saitama.

She was the first adult female athlete who managed to do it in international competition.

Tursynbayeva won the second place after the short program with 75,96 points.

Earlier Evgeny Medvedev secured a world championship in Japan.
