Trump has threatened countries of the UN to reduce the financial assistance for Jerusalem

The President of the United States Donald trump threatened to cut financial aid to countries that vote in favor of UN General Assembly resolution, which calls for the repeal of the decision on the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. It is reported by The New York Times.

Together with the statement of trump is the letter of the US representative in the UN , Nikki Haley. She warns that the US will take note of those countries that will vote for the resolution.

“All these countries that take our money and then vote against us in the security Council or in the Assembly, they take hundreds of millions of dollars and billions of dollars and they vote against us. Okay, we’re watching these votes. Let them vote against us, we will save a lot. We still are,” said trump.

Earlier, Ukraine supported the draft resolution of the UN security Council, which called on the USA to cancel the decision on recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
