Tomorrow the rule of law in Odessa will provide about 2,5 thousand law enforcement officers

KIEV. May 1. UNN. Tomorrow, may 2, law and order in Odessa will provide 2.5 thousand militiamen. This was announced by first Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Sergey Yarovoy, reports UNN with reference to the Department of communication of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“This is the fifth anniversary of the tragic events in Odessa. Of course, we expect a large number of events. Some destructive forces are trying to use them to their advantage and roll out the situation not only in Odessa but also throughout the country. The task of law enforcement authorities to prevent this”, – said Sergey Yarovoy.

To the strengthened mode of service be occupied by about 2,500 police officers.

“The last two months we carry a large amount of work, so I assure Odessites and guests of the city, we are ready to ensure law and order tomorrow. Attract 2500 of personnel from the region and the given forces and means, including 650 troops of the national guard. Tomorrow on duty will be all the units – bomb squad, patrol, pyrotechnics, fire brigades, investigative team, the police dialogue and the border”, – said Sergey Yarovoy.

We will remind, yesterday the police of Odessa is transferred to the strengthened mode of service in connection with the planned public events in early may.
