To Odessa profits of 4.6 thousand pilgrims Hasidim — the national guard
KIEV. September 27. UNN. In Odessa airport arriving pilgrims in Uman, Cherkasy are preparing to celebrate the new year on the Jewish calendar, the press service of the National guard of Ukraine, reports UNN.
“The guards successfully protect public order and security in the airport of Odessa at the time of arrival of Hasidic pilgrims … the Pilgrims-Chassids to massively continue to arrive in Ukraine to celebrate the Jewish New year. Currently, arrived in Odessa about 4.6 thousand pilgrims. This year they expected about 20 thousand,” — inform the police.
Pilgrims traditionally take two Ukrainian airports in Odessa and Kiev, because Uman is located on the Kiev — Odessa highway approximately in the middle of this path.
“The guards are patrolling around the clock at the airport terminal and on the Parking lot and surrounding areas. From Odessa, the Hasidim will be sent buses to Uman”, — stated in the message of the National guard.
Earlier on September 27 in the State border service reported that arrived in Ukraine for more than 19 thousand pilgrims Hasidim, six entry refused.
Bratslav Hasidim will begin to celebrate Rosh Hashanah- new 5780 on the Jewish calendar — the evening of 29 September.
In Uman, Cherkasy region buried tzaddik (righteous man) Nachman, his grave is one of the most revered shrines and place of pilgrimage for the representatives of the so-called Bratslav Hasidism. All the Jews that are present within Hasidism, it is my duty to visit at least once in his life at the grave of the tzaddik Nachman. Jews who spent Rosh Hashanah in Uman, believe that the new year is sure to be happy for them.
