18 thousand security officers will be on duty in the temples and 7 thousand – in the streets
To maintain order in the Christmas night will be 25 thousand employees of the National police and the National guard. About it reports a press-service of the interior Ministry.
“Public safety at temples will provide more than 18 thousand employees of the National police and the National guard. About 7 thousand law enforcement officers will be involved in the protection of public order on the streets they will patrol the towns and roads”, – said the first Deputy Minister of internal Affairs Sergey Spring.
The main task of law enforcement will be preventive measures to prevent offenses and to the prevention of accidents and emergency situations.
In the night from January 6 to 7, almost 14 thousands of religious buildings across the country scheduled services. According to available information, most events will be held in Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. In the whole country in the services will involve about 5 million people.
