Three Donetsk police tortured detainees

KIEV. July 21. UNN. In the Donetsk region Prosecutor’s office exposed the three policemen for torturing detainees and the creation of the criminal scheme. About it UNN reported in a press-service of Prosecutor’s office of Donetsk region.

Yesterday, July 20, police detained three officers of the precinct of the National police in the Donetsk region.

It is established that the law enforcement authorities with the aim of improving their performance in work on revealing and disclosing of criminal and administrative offences, systematically fabricated evidence of guilt of individuals in criminal proceedings. In particular, transferred to drug-addicted persons drugs for their further prosecution.

So, militiamen, being in the room of one of the provincial police, led the detainee to take responsibility for a criminal offence he did not commit. Having received the refusal of the detainee, the police beat him with rubber baton on the head, body, hands and feet.

Now pre-judicial investigation under part 2 of article 365 (abuse of power or office powers employee of law enforcement body), part 2 St. 307 (illegal production, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sales of narcotic drugs) of the criminal code of Ukraine continues.
