Law enforcement authorities in Milan investigating the case of intentional murder after the death of a witness in a case about sex parties at the Villa of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the 34-year-old dancer from Morocco, imane Fadil.
The woman was hospitalized with severe pain in the abdomen, 29 of January, and a month later, “the agony”, on March 1, she died, writes La Stampa. The results of the examination was received on 6 March.
The newspaper refers to a medical report according to which Fadil died from poisoning by a mixture of radioactive substances. Presumably, they could be put in food or drinks. Poisoning has led to a gradual failure of internal organs.
Edition of La Repubblica, quoted by TV channel “Rain” reported that one of the components was a radioactive isotope of cobalt, the other two are unknown.
The newspaper notes that used to be “a rare blend, in the manufacture of which the Russians are experts”, but it does not link the incident directly with Russia, adds RBC.
The death of Fadil also said the Italian media of the circumstances of the death of former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko in London by poisoning with radioactive polonium-210.
According to the Agency Ansa, a few days before hospitalization Fadil said family and lawyer that he feared poisoning. The woman also claimed that can tell a lot about parties at the Villa Berlusconi.
Former Italian Prime Minister, in turn, has expressed a regret in connection with the death of Fadil, but said he didn’t know her and never talked to her. Berlusconi also said that he had read her testimony and found them to be absurd.
Fadil was the star witness for the prosecution in the scandalous “ruby”, named for the nickname of the main supernumerary – Moroccan dancer Karima al-Mahroug. According to La Stampa, Fadil was a member of at least eight parties at the Villa of Berlusconi in Arcore, in which were arranged orgies and the politician and his entourage enjoyed the services of prostitutes, including minors. In particular, the same ruby was at that time 17 years.
Berlusconi himself called the party “elegant dinners” and in the press they dubbed “Bunga Bunga”. Fadil told me that one of the parties to the former Prime Minister were dressed as nuns, strippers, and she herself Berlusconi gave 2000 euros.
In 2013 Berlusconi was sentenced to seven years imprisonment for abuse of authority and an intimate relationship with an underage dancer. Later the court acquitted him. However, the Prosecutor made the resumption of the case, this time suspecting the ex-Prime Minister of bribing witnesses.
