The United States expanded sanctions against terrorists

The US state Department announced the extension of the list of sanctions against the international terrorist grouping “brigades of Abdullah Azzam”, also known as “Marwan Hadid Brigades”. About it reports UKRINFORM.

The state Department noted that the group continues to operate after the first wave of sanctions in 2012. In particular the undermining of the suicide bomber in Lebanon in June 2014, one person died and 37 were injured. In addition, the group operates in Syria under the second name.

According to the state Department, the organization has carried out several attacks in conjunction with the group “Frente al-Nusra”.

All objects and property of terrorists “Brigade Abdullah Azzam”, which are under U.S. jurisdiction blocked.

In October of this year, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions against the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps of Iran, which is accused of supporting terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas and the Taliban.
