The UN Commission on disarmament has adjourned the meeting in connection with the failure to issue in time a us visa to the head of the Russian delegation, the head of the Department of the foreign Ministry of Russia on the issues of multilateral disarmament Konstantin Vorontsov.

“The disarmament Commission has postponed the organizational session of ten days to the Committee on UN relations with the host country was able to hold a meeting to resolve the concerns of Russia in connection with the failure to delegate us visa”, — stated in the press release of the organization, which leads TASS.

Earlier the Russian foreign Ministry said that the situation with the issuance of U.S. visas to Russian officials continues to deteriorate.
19 December, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution obliging the U.S. to promptly grant visas to diplomats involved in the activities of the world organization.
