The Ukrainian won on debut in the history of the world festival on rock climbing in Oman

KIEV. 29 Dec. UNN. By the end of 2017 climbers from around the world competed at the first climbing festival “Red Bull Psicobloc”, which was held in December in Dibb (province of Musandam, Oman), reports UNN with reference to the Sports Committee of Ukraine.

The competition was organized by the famous American rock climber Chris Sharma. This festival was the first event of its kind in the entire middle East. The essence of competition consisted in the maximum ascent of the route would be marked with red flags that athletes were gathered for his ascent, without using insurance.

All the competition was attended by 41 the athlete, and the winner among men became the Ukrainian Yuriy Volodko. In the women’s standings, won the Mays El Kaya (Mayssam El Kaii).

Let’s add that second and third places were taken among men Sajwani Hamad (UAE), Jan Georg Sochi (Germany) under Anna Romeo (France), Irma Kesler Prata (Croatia) among women.
