The Ukrainian Navy has declared its readiness to use weapons in case of provocations in Odessa

KIEV. April 29. UNN. The Naval Forces of Ukraine warned that they were ready to use weapons in case of provocations in Odessa on may 2. A statement posted on the Navy page in Facebook, reports UNN.

“The command of the Naval Forces of Armed forces of Ukraine pays attention of citizens to the fact that in case of any attempts of provocations, inappropriate actions by destructive elements with respect to military installations or military personnel, officers of garrisons, military units and rescue services, police and the outfits will take appropriate counter-measures, stipulated by normative and legal acts of Ukraine, including — if necessary — with use of weapons”, – stated in the message.

While in the Navy noted that lately the enemy has stepped up provocations, including in the area of responsibility of Naval Forces of Ukraine.

“Anti-Ukrainian forces their shameful intentions cynically “adjust” for the holidays, and the anniversary of the tragic events of 2 may 2014 in Odessa”, — said in a statement.

The Navy urged local authorities and citizens to be vigilant, “be” provocation of Russian special services, to remain calm, to abide by the laws of Ukraine, and the detection of suspicious persons in close proximity to military installations immediately inform the military command and law enforcement.

We will remind, on may 2 in Odessa will be on duty for two thousand police officers and there are additional posts at the entrances to the city.
