Employees of the General Prosecutor’s office detained two officials of the largest state gas company “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” on suspicion of illicit enrichment to almost 17 million UAH in September-December.

“Today detained two officials “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”, which set up a scheme to get a 10% kickback for government contracts. In the case recorded that in September-December, the head of the mechanical-energetic Department of “ukrgazvidobuvannya” Mikitin and the Director for the preparation and transportation of gas Gordienko received 16,840 million. Upon receipt of the next tranche of 9 million UAH malefactors are detained. Attempt to throw out the window the pile of money will not affect the progress of the investigation. Donated to the official “Land cruiser” also consider”, – wrote Lutsenko.
He also added that the matter implemented by the Department “K” of SBU, the GPU, the ARS, in cooperation with the head of “Naftogaz” Andrey KOBOLEV.
“Ukrgazvidobuvannya” in 2017 net profit compared with the year 2016 2.6 times – up to 30.5 billion UAH 11.9 billion UAH. The company’s net income for 2017 increased 1.4 – fold, to 75.1 billion.
By the end of 2017, the company “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” increased production of natural gas by 4.8 per cent to 15.25 billion cubic meters.
Reference to UNIAN. “Ukrgazvydobuvannya” is the largest gas company of Ukraine, whose share in the total volume of hydrocarbon production in the country is about 70%.
