The two leaders Academy of agrarian Sciences, Odessa detained on a bribe

ODESSA-KIEV. May 31. UNN. Employees of Department of protection of the economy in Odessa region the National police stopped activity of the criminal scheme, organized by the Director of the research Institute and head of the research facilities of the National Academy of agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of GUNP in Odessa region.

Officials demanded 15 thousand US dollars for transfer to rent of the premises of the Institute for reconstruction as a hotel and business activities. The signing of the rental agreement they received 20 thousand UAH, of which 15 thousand hryvnias received by the head of Institute of National Academy of agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, 5 thousand hryvnia – Director of the experimental farm of this scientific Institute. Investigators arrested the two offenders in the offices for taking bribes.

“In the framework of criminal proceedings opened under part 3 St. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of unlawful benefit by an official) of the criminal code, law enforcement officers documented the facts of corruption activity of the defendants in the case. There are other facts of receiving such persons of illegal benefit for the decision of similar questions, as well as other persons that may be involved in this offense,” – said the Agency.
