President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during a visit to Lviv armored plant has assured that it will not tolerate corruption in the Armed forces of Ukraine.

“As commander in chief, as President, I will not allow anyone to Rob the army, to warm the hands of supplies to the Armed forces! The Ukrainian people are giving the last, and stealing is not allowed to anyone. This is my position, the position of law enforcement agencies that demonstrate strong achievement in the fight against corruption, ” he said on Friday, July 14.

In addition, the President promised to allocate 920 million UAH Lviv armored plant tanks, fire trucks, armored vehicles “Dozor”.

Note, on the eve of Poroshenko’s visit to Lviv, the detectives NAB arrested the representatives of the APU and the management of SOE “Lviv armored plant suspected of fraud”.

According to investigators, the officials of the plant purchased instead of new engines for tanks T-72 engines, which had previously been in use and sold on the domestic market as surplus Ministry of defence property.
