The Supervisory Board of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has suggested to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the new composition of the Board, which proposes to leave the head of the NJSC Andriy KOBOLEV.
This is evidenced by data from the government addressed to letters to the NAC, reports “Economic truth”.
“This letter is to inform you about our proposal to maintain the current quantitative composition of the Board”, — the document says.
At the same time it was proposed to terminate the powers of members of the management Board Oleg Prokhorenko and Yuri Kolbushkin.
The membership of the Board upon the proposal of the Supervisory Board of “Naftogaz” as follows:
- Chairman of the Board — Andriy KOBOLEV
- First Deputy Chairman of the Board — Sergey Pereloma
- Deputy Chairman of the management Board — Sergey Conover
- The members of the Board — Yaroslav Teklyuk, Andrei Khomenko, Nikolai Gavrilenko
We will remind, on March 6, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced an open competition for the position of Chairman of the Board NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine”. The start of the contest to be held March 23, the day after the completion of the contract of the current Chairman Andriy KOBOLEV and all members of the Board of the company.
On 7 March Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman called the demands to the new management of the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.
“The first is not transcendental, and the real market wage. Second, we must identify specific tasks for management. This separation of the gas transportation system, search the international partner for gas transit and the continuation of the transit from January 2020,” — said Groisman.
The Prime Minister also noted that another challenge that the government as a shareholder confronts the management of the company — to radically increase the production of Ukrainian gas to be able to abandon the imports, which in turn could systematically affect the decline in gas prices.
March 13, Andrey Gerus, an expert in the field of energy, wrote in Facebook: “the New proposal of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman: contract A. KOBOLEV extend to March 2020; the current salary is reduced by half; monthly and quarterly bonuses are canceled; the annual bonus will be provided at the level approved by the government in the financial plan, but only under two conditions: the completion of unbundling Naftogaz until the end of this year and increase gas production”.
