The state Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of foreign Affairs pledged its support for reforms in Ukraine
Uncategorized February 14, 2017KIEV. 14 Feb. UNN. Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze met with the State Secretary of the foreign Ministry of Norway Marit Berger, Island, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the Cabinet.
Vice Prime Minister told about the progress of reforms in Ukraine, in particular, on macroeconomic stabilization, the fight against corruption and the beginning of the implementation of judicial reform.
M. Rasland praised these achievements and assured to clear the position of Norway on support of reforms in Ukraine.
“We would be very happy to share our experience with the EU, as a country, not a member of the Union,” she said. This will be facilitated by the visit of Deputy Prime Minister in Norway, scheduled for the end of March, during which it is expected to launch a mechanism of bilateral consultations on European integration.
I. klympush-Tsintsadze also thanked for Norway’s support in the fight against Russian aggression.
“I hope that together we can keep the pressure on the Russian Federation”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.
Separately the sides discussed strategic communication, the anti Russian propaganda and reassured each other in unity in the issues of transatlantic and European relations.
