The special operation in the Carpathians: the official Gosgeokadastra reported about suspicion
Searches in the region will continue for more than one hour
In the framework of large-scale special operation of security forces on the so-called “private boundary” in the Transcarpathian region law enforcement authorities reported about suspicion to the official Gosgeokadastra. This was stated press Secretary of the Military Prosecutor of the Western region Yuliya galushchak, reports 112 Ukraina.
“The results of several searches conducted, prosecutors found that in 2015-2016 official GU Gosgeokadastra in the Transcarpathian region and subordinate office in Beregovo district, in the person of the former leader, abuse of power and official position, acting in the interests of an organized group of persons, committed illegal acts in respect of renewal of lands that are located along the state border of Ukraine”, – she said.
According to galushchak, the detainee was handed to the suspect and the petition for election measures of restraint in form of detention.
“He is accused of cooperation with an organized group of persons that led to the loss of state property 140 hectares of the state border of Ukraine. Specified person facing deprivation of liberty,” she said.
While galushchak said that law enforcement officers are now working out the information about Attila the Gorvat, which the media called the organizer of the “private boundaries”.
By words a press-the Secretary of Prosecutor’s office, searches in the field will last more than one hour.
“These measures have now attracted more than 60 investigative prosecutors, more than 150 soldiers of the special forces SBS, 70 employees of military counterintelligence, as well as more than 70 units of automotive and special equipment,” she said.
Earlier it was reported that on November 16 the law enforcement agencies conduct 100 searches the possible involved in illegal land occupation of the border strip in the Transcarpathian region, as well as the organizers of the illegal production and distribution of drugs. After mass media reported about the detention of more than 20 people and the organizer of “private boundary” – smuggler Gorvat Attila, better known by the nickname “the Docks”.
We will remind, in October, the chief military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios said that 150 km of the Ukrainian border with Hungary – private and common land. According to him, the border is actually in private hands, and the guards do not have full access to it.
Soon the press Secretary of the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Yaroslav Gallas reported that “private boundary” in Transcarpathia also are on the border with Slovakia and Romania. Thus, according to the representative of state frontier service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan, land along the state border line was in private ownership not only in the Carpathians on the border with Hungary, but also in Lviv (Poland), Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv oblasts (Russia). According to him, the land plan to return to state ownership via court.
The so-called “private boundary” in the Transcarpathian region is the number of land plots allocated into the private property of village councils of Transcarpathia in Beregovo district mainly. On these lands was supposed to farm, to plant corn and breed pigs. But in fact, these plots were used as a base for smuggling. They have built a viewing tower and they were controlled by the representatives of the hunting societies or self-defense groups with weapons.
It is about 134 hectares and is 5 km along the border line. According to different versions, the Scam may be involved not only local officials, but the prosecutors who delayed the registration of the relevant documents on the land border, as well as employees Gosgeolkarta who are allowed to draw land plots in private property.
