The size of the peacekeeping mission in the Donbas is discussed – mid

The question of the number of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas is still under discussion. This was stated by the speaker of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine Marian Betz broadcast a radio station, reports UNIAN.

She said she could not confirm or deny that the United States should give Russia the option of attracting 20 million foreign peacekeepers to the mission.

“The numbers had indeed been discussed, but the numbers, as they say, are stubborn thing, so it is necessary to clearly operate. Discussed different figures were discussed really a mandate, but this requires more coordination on the level of the security Council and is still in the negotiation process,” said Betz.

The speaker of the foreign Ministry noted that the Ukrainian offer welcomed all friends and partners – it is necessary to consult with those who “are not close friends and partners.”
