The shooting of the Maidan: Kharkov Berkut want to run from Ukraine

Ex-Berkut officers said that their family after the “victory of the so-called revolutions of a gidnost” allegedly deprived of source of income, and that they themselves “were subject to criminal prosecution by governmental authorities and defrauded of part of society.”
Former security officials expressed readiness “to prove innocence before an independent and fair court”.
At the time of publication of news Sergey Gorbatyuk was unavailable for comment about the “threats to judges” and the current status of the Berkut officers.

6 April 2017, the Appeals court decided to release from-under guards under the personal obligation ex-berkutovets Vitaliy Goncharenko, who is accused of killing three people on 18 February 2014 during the Maidan. Prosecutors demanded to leave Goncharenko custody.
Goncharenko, along with three other ex-fighters of subdivision Berkut detained in June 2016 in Kharkov. All four of them at the time of arrest worked in the police.
