The Serbian President spoke about the country’s relations with Russia

KIEV. January 15. UNN. The cooperation of Serbia and Russia is important for the future of the two countries. On the issue of gas supplies from Russia, Vucic said that Serbia is under pressure of the West on this question: “When someone comes from the West, we are constantly told that we took the gas to TAP (TRANS Adriatic pipeline) and TANAP (TRANS-Anatolian gas pipeline), and not Russian gas, although these pipelines do not have enough gas for us, as I was told by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev”.

“I have no ideological problem, give me another cheap gas, but I don’t see it. The cheapest gas is currently in Russian. When the Russian will hold a gas pipeline to Bulgaria, we pay them to do it to us. Therefore, Putin’s visit is important,” concluded Vucic.

Also, the Serbian President said that “off the record” gave Putin an icon. After that, he said, they were talking about “the Orthodox spirit” and how the Russian leader perceives Christianity. “Putin plays on a piano, and that evening invited me to watch hockey together,” added Vucic.
