The school of Prague found a map with a “Russian” Crimea: photos

In one of the schools of Prague on the map of Europe the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea is marked by the same color as the country-aggressor Russia. This was reported by one of the users in Twitter.

“Today I went to school in Prague, where will you go my son. How about a map of Europe in class? The teacher knows, she apologized, but said that the Ministry of these cards sent to them”, – stated in the message.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebiynis in Facebook said that in November of 2017, the Czech company has released a card with an incorrect indication of the Crimea.

“In response to our letter to the manufacturer of the cards sent to the Embassy apology and announced the withdrawal of incorrect cards from the market and from the web site of the company. According to our information, the Ministry of education is also preparing measures for the purpose of removing the incorrect cards from the schools,” the Ambassador said.

He added that so far the official response from the Ministry is not received.

“According to our information, the Ministry of education is also preparing measures to remove invalid cards from schools. Although, it should be noted that the official response from the Ministry, we have not yet received,” – said the Ambassador.

Czech President Milos Zeman believes the seizure by Russia of the Crimean Peninsula “finished matter” and proposes to solve the problem with compensation to Ukraine.
