The SBU exposed the former Deputy of the Odessa city Council on the financing of terrorism

KIEV. 16 Nov. UNN. Employees of the security Service of Ukraine exposed the facts of financing by the former Deputy of the Odessa city Council in collaboration with the management of the construction company illegal armed formations so-called “DNR” and “LNR”, transfers UNN with reference to the press service of the Ministry.

Law enforcement authorities established that one of the major developers of the Odessa part of the sold property does not reflect in the financial documents and cash. Then transferred to one of the former members of the city Council of Odessa, which has “interests” in the construction business.

Employees of special services has documented that the Deputy, declared in the international wanted list, is hiding from the Ukrainian justice in Russia and directs a percentage of the amount for financing of illegal armed groups terrorist organizations “DNR / LNR”.

“For more evidence of terrorist financing in the framework of criminal proceedings opened under part 2 of article 258-5 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, there are searches in the offices of a construction company and places of residence of the defendants in the case “, – noted in SBU.
