Despite the fact that the Supreme court of Venezuela banned Guido to leave the country on 22 February he arrived in the Colombian border city of Cucuta, where he organized the distribution center for humanitarian aid for the residents of the Bolivarian Republic. During the week the leader of the opposition, on January 23, proclaimed himself interim President of the country, visited Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Ecuador.
Venezuela’s Parliament, controlled by the opposition, allowed Guido to be outside the Republic “for more than five days from February 23,” but on arrival in Caracas he faces arrest in connection with the previous ban imposed by the Supreme court, notes the BBC Russian service.
Returning home, Guida faced difficulties on the border. At the airport, part of the guards left their jobs, others wanted to take a selfie with him. He still managed to put in the passport entry stamp to Venezuela.
