Hockey referee Eduard Odins, serving the match of the regular championship of the Continental hockey League (KHL) Vityaz — torpedo, was seriously injured.

The incident occurred in the third minute of the match, when striker “torpedo” Daniel Garaev came under attack with a club forward of the Moscow team Miro Aaltonen and ran into the referee.
As the press service of the KHL, the Odins diagnosed with closed fracture of both bones of the left tibia with offset.
The match ended in a crushing victory of “torpedo” with the score 6:0.
Earlier it was reported that “AK bars” beat “Jokerit” and broke their series of defeats in the KHL.
