The police investigator in Odessa region detained for bribery

KIEV. 18 APR. UNN. Investigator of one of regional departments of police of Odessa region detained in an office office during receiving a $ 500 bribe for not involvement of the local resident to the criminal liability for theft. This is reported by UNN citing the press service of the security Service of Ukraine.

Employees of the security Service of Ukraine together with the military Prosecutor’s office and the internal security police detained on a bribe of the investigator of one of regional departments of the police of Odessa region.

“Militiamen established that the senior Lieutenant demanded five hundred U.S. dollars from local resident for failure to prosecute for theft. Operatives of the intelligence service detained the investigator in an office office during obtaining all sum of a bribe”, – stated in the message.
