The new Supreme Court plans to elect a Chairman at the first meeting

KIEV. 30 Nov. UNN. Began the first plenary session of the new Supreme Court, which today will be to elect the President of the court and his Deputy, the correspondent of UNN.

“Was 111 judges. I declare the meeting of the Plenum open,” – said the Chairman of the organizing Committee of the Supreme Court Dmitry Lispnyc.

In particular, as reported by D. Lusink, today on the agenda of the Plenum of VS provides 7 questions. Among them: approval of Rules of the Supreme Court, the determination of the court election of the Chairman and zastupnika President of the Supreme Court.

Judges expect today to approve the strategy of activities of the Supreme Court.

Recall, the Verkhovna Rada on 3 October adopted a judicial reform.

President Petro Poroshenko on November 22 signed a law.

The bill, according to AP, was designed by the Council for judicial reform, taking into account proposals of Ukrainian and international experts and aims to bring the Ukrainian rules of the judicial process in accordance with best European and international practice.
