Today, June 16, during a speech in Belgium, NATO Secretary General
of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg assured that, despite receiving a new Ukraine
status in NATO, Hungary continues to block Ministerial meeting of the Commission
The NATO – Ukraine. This process continues for several years.

So, Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukraine was very
a strong and necessary partner for NATO and for this reason the status of Kyiv was
upgraded.
He assured that the Alliance are looking for ways to address the issue
regarding the Ministerial meetings of the Commission NATO – Ukraine.
According to him, Hungary is still blocking the process and
the parties fail to agree.
Earlier it was reported that military experts in the United States
prepared a report with recommendations to strengthen NATO’s Eastern flank and
to invest in Ukraine and Georgia.
Prior to this it was noted that after receiving the status of the partner advanced capabilities Ukraine will seek full-fledged membership in NATO. Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanyshina said,
now it will be easier to do.
We will remind, the conflict between Ukraine and Hungary because of Transcarpathia
bought a new coil, because the Cabinet decided to change the number of districts and
was given one with the center in shoreline, which is considered a kind of protegerse
region. However, in reality the situation is not much changed.
