The monument to the shepherd in the Odessa region was in the Guinness Book of records

KIEV. 20 Nov. UNN Odessa the monument to the shepherd, which is located on the territory of the ethnographic complex “frumusica-Nova” in the tarutinsky district of the Odessa region, was in the Guinness Book of records. This is stated in the information on the official website of Guinness world records, reports UNN.

The granite monument was recognized as the highest in the world statue of the shepherd.

“The world’s tallest statue of a shepherd is of 16.43 meters. Established by Alexander Palariev (Ukraine) in Odessa, Ukraine, 1 December 2016. Palariev created the statue “Sheep shepherd in Frumushika Nova” using 152 cubic meters (412 metric tons) of labradorite”, — stated in the message.
