The Ministry of culture will request increased funding for protection of cultural heritage – E. nischuk

KIEV. May 30. UNN. The Ministry of culture of Ukraine will petition for increase funding for the protection of cultural heritage. About this at the National restoration centre of Ukraine, said the Minister of culture Yevhen Nyshchuk, the press service of the Ministry, reports UNN.

“The Ministry of culture intends to request increased funding for the protection of cultural heritage”, – said E. nischuk.

According to him, Ukraine is now going through a time when the majority of funds from both budgetary and volunteers are to maintain the country’s defense.

“But in parallel we must take care to support culture and the arts, to invest in the funds. I am convinced that this way we can show the world the real gems of history and culture of the Ukrainian people”, – the Minister added.

As previously reported UNN, the state property Fund of Ukraine has allocated the Ministry of culture offer in the form of a list of objects where can be located the future of the Ukrainian cultural Fund.

We will remind, for the first quarter of this year, the Ministry of culture received the application for state support of cultural activities in the amount of about 19 million.
