Several Russian media has stopped working with the State Duma from-for scandal round the Deputy of LDPR Leonid Slutsky, which several journalists were accused of abuse.
Clear channel said it would suspend work after the ethics Committee announced that it found no irregularities in the behavior of Slutsky. Editor in chief of TV channel Alexander Perepelov said after the meeting “it became clear that the women to be in the Duma is simply dangerous”.
RBC for the same reason, withdrew journalists of all editions (website, TV station, newspaper, magazine), working on coverage of the activities of the state Duma.
Commercity decided “to put the point in relations with the Deputy Slutsky as a newsmaker and the ethics Commission, as it follows a different ethical views.”
The ethics Commission considered the complaint of a producer of Rain Darya Zhuk and the correspondent of Russian service of BBC Farida Rustamova about the harassment by the weekend.
