Irish Ryanair and Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air will start flying from Odessa in the summer of 2019.

This was stated by Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian, writes “Mirror of week”.

“I think we will be able to welcome low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air in Odessa in the summer of this year,” he said.

Thus Omeljan stressed that for the approach of these airlines to Odessa, you must complete the renovation work at the airport.

The new international terminal of the airport “Odessa” will be able to serve 1 thousand passengers per hour, or about 3 million passengers a year. The airport “Odessa” is among the three largest airports in Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Ryanair will launch five new routes from Kiev to 2019. In particular, from April lowcost planes will fly from Kiev to Athens, Manchester, Larnaca, Sofia, may add another flight to Dublin.
