On the construction of the highway from Kiev to Odessa need $ 1 billion, said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman during the inspection of roads.

“This question (creation of the highway from Kiev to Odessa) for one year. Also the question about money. Autobahn requires at least one billion dollars. Therefore, we conduct negotiations with international financial organizations in order to raise additional funds”, – he said.
Groisman said that in the next year on the road Kiev-Odessa will be allocated 2.5 billion UAH of financial institutions.
The Prime Minister added that now on the road spent the money of Ukrainian taxpayers (Road Fund) and the international financial institutions.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in February this year the government has allocated for road repairs additional 550 million UAH, of which 300 million UAH are directed on the highway Kyiv-Chop, and 250 million UAH – on the highway Kyiv-Odessa. Acting head of “Ukravtodor” Slawomir Nowak expects the company “Altcom”, which in 2013 won the tender for capital repairs on the road M05 Kyiv–Odessa, but still the repair is not completed in this year will complete work on this track.
