The head of the Venezuelan Parliament, said that democracy needs a transitional government

KIEV. 5 Jan. UNN. The new head of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Venezuela Juan Guido stated the need for the establishment of an interim transitional government for the return of democracy in the country. The corresponding statement was published on the website of the Parliament, reports UNN.

“Our goal is to collect and unite the forces necessary for the formation of the interim government. We hope for a cessation of usurpation of power (by President Nicolas Maduro),” said Guido.

He also added that if Maduro refuses to leave the post of head of state, it is necessary to “unite and launch a joint action aimed at the mobilization of the people, the National Assembly, the armed forces of Venezuela and the international community in order that he (Maduro) was not a choice.”
