Maxim Stepanov, who heads the Odessa region, refused to leave the post by the decision of Petro Poroshenko.

So ,today, April 8, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Alexander
Sayenko said that the government did not take decisions on the suspension of Maxim
Stepanova from the post of Chairman of the Odessa regional state
administration. Although on the website of President Poroshenko was presented
the decree, according to which he was removed from office Stepanova.
Later on the same website there is a document about the appointment of Sergei
Parashchenko acting head of the Odessa regional state administration.
However, in the afternoon an official statement was made by himself
Maxim Stepanov, who said that his dismissal is illegal, so it
will challenge him. Stepanov added that did not submit a statement of resignation, but he
this offered.
