The Director of the Federal security service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov said that Russia in 2010 the number of terrorist crimes has decreased by almost 100 times.

“The complex is made organizational, preventive and enforcement measures enabled nearly a hundred times to reduce the number of crimes of a terrorist orientation: from 779 in 2010 to nine in 2018”, — said Bortnikov.

The corresponding statement he made during his speech at the opening of the Conference on combating international terrorism under the auspices of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly in St. Petersburg.

On the evening of 12 April it became known that in Tyumen held a counter-terrorism operation. The FSB received information that in the city of supporters of the terrorist organization “Islamic state.”*

Later, NAC announced the elimination of two supporters, who opened fire in response to the offer to surrender.
