In the Yaroslavl region detained a former acting head of the penal colony №1 of Yaroslavl Dmitry Nikolaev in the case of the use of violence against prisoners.

“Today on suspicion in the organization of the specified crime the arrested employees of the Federal penitentiary service Dmitry Nikolaev and Igit Mikhailov, previously displaced post of acting chief of fku IK-1 and his Deputy respectively (part 3 of article 33, paragraphs “a, b” part 3 article 286 of the criminal code of Russia)”, — noted there.
The investigation seeks the arrest of the suspects.
Earlier the staff of management of Federal service of execution of punishments across Yaroslavl region have found a new video with the violations against the convicted person in a penal colony of Yaroslavl.
In July 2018 after the publication of the video of the brutal beating of a prisoner Evgeny Makarov in penal colony No. 1 in Yaroslavl investigative Committee opened a criminal case in which frameworks have arrested 12 people.
